Pilotul spaniol al echipei Ferrari, Fernando Alonso, a câştigat, duminică, Marele Premiu de Formula 1 al Germaniei, desfăşurat pe circuitul de la Hockenheim, el fiind urmat de coechipierul său, brazilianul Felipe Massa.
Ultima treaptă a podiumului a fost ocupată de Sebastian Vettel (Germania/Red Bull). Pe locurile 4 şi 5 s-au situat Lewis Hamilton, respectiv Jenson Button (ambii Marea Britanie/McLaren Mercedes). Mark Webber (Australia/Red Bull) a terminat pe locul şase, iar Robert Kubica (Polonia/Renault) pe şapte.
Nico Rosberg şi Michael Schumacher (ambii Germania/Mercedes) au încheiat în această ordie pe locurile opt şi nouă, iar Vitali Petrov (Rusia/Renault) a cucerit ultimul punct pus în joc, terminând al zecelea.
